 You may want to consider a private mail box blog post where only you and the other person can see the communication. This allows all members to have a way to send a message. An example and instructions can be found at [blog BiggLala]. I also have one and a link to the instructions at my blog.

Use the blocked member function for the people who are not respectful in their communications

Maybe consider adding a blog post with your profile (copy and paste). You could do that post so that no one can comment on it. That is found if you scroll down before you post it (who can comment). I have done this, and I appreciate the other bloggers that have it as well. Having your likes and wants here might help cut down on nuisance contacts

 Another thing you might consider is in your privacy settings. You can set it so that you can view profiles without the user being notified that you have. And know that hovering over the profile photo can generate such a message even if you do not go to the full profile. If you really find someone you want to know that you looked, you can change to send a notification and then change it back to private viewing.
