I'm a retired recording studio engineer/producer. I started as a radio DJ while in college, then spent a few years on-air in Southeast Missouri. I had an opportunity to move to Dallas and work at a production company recording and mixing music, and after three years there, to Los Angeles to do more of the same on a much bigger scale. I've worked with many classic rock bands doing special acoustic sessions and interviews for broadcast. In 2016, I went on my first ocean cruise (to Alaska!), and it turned me into a cruise ship regular. By the end of 2024, I'll have been on 70 cruises In terms of continents, I've been to Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Oceania (incl. Australia, New Zealand and Fiji), and in December 2023, Antarctica. That leaves only Africa to visit, and I'll get there eventually too! Being gay, "of course" I like Broadway musicals, but that's about as stereotypical as I get. I enjoy pop, rock, EDM. Not a big fan of , hip-hop or screamo, but if you are, that's fine. I have stayed HIV-negative, and since 1984 (for 40 years!) I've been a "control subject" in a long-term UCLA study tracing how HIV/AIDS is transmitted. Again, yes, I am HIV-negative. I volunteer in and support several local organizations. I've been an election pollworker for about 10 years, and I watch Rick & Morty, The Simpsons, Family Guy, MSNBC, Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers.
